If you are interested in learning to become a better fastpitch player, the TC Fastpitch Off-Season Skills Clinics are the place for you. We believe that fastpitch players are made during the offseason; so if you are interested in improving your game, keeping your skills crisp, and developing new skills, check out the skills clinic.

These clinics are geared for all levels – from the Beginning player to the Varsity athlete. All skills will be covered with emphasis on throwing, fielding, basic hitting skills, conditioning, and game situations. These clinics will put you ahead of the rest once spring rolls around. The clinics are set up so that athletes who play winter sports can sign up and come when they are available."

The first half of the sessions will cover general softball skills and fundamentals, while the second half of the clinic season will consist of more focused, specific instruction on positions, situations and techniques.

We provide outstanding skills clinics and the highest level instruction. Our skills clinicians focus on teaching and keeping the girls’ softball fundamentals sharp. This year’s lead instructors will include Brian Baddenhoff, Kaja Martinson, Missy Laatsch, Amber Hegland and Mike Carter.

Brian Baddenhoff founded the Minneapolis Heat and is a current Minnesota Vortex Coach. He is a well respected clinician and teaches all aspects of the game. Kaja Martinson is a former College of St. Thomas player, record holder and a highly skilled clinician. Missy Laatsch has coached for over 15+ years and played college level ball at MSU. Amber Hegland is a highly celebrated player from the University of Minnesota Gophers and currently head coach at Wayzata High School. Mike Carter is head coach at Orono High School and the Minnesota Vortex. Mike was the Minnesota's Section 6AAA coach of the year the last three years and lead Orono High School to the 3A State Tournament the past three seasons. In addition to these great clinicians, look for other well-known players from at High School and College levels.
